About

Donovan D. Mullings is a Chicago-based actor, improviser, comedian, writer, competitive card player, and all-around nerd. Born & raised in the Fort Lauderdale area, he honed his skills at the University of Florida, where he earned his BFA in acting.

After several years of performing improv professionally, and with several roles in television and indie films under his belt, Donovan made his way to Chicago to see what was next. He quickly made his way through the Annoyance theater’s improv program and hit the ground running.

Donovan has performed in sketch revues and plays at theaters throughout Chicago, including Pride Arts Center, the Annoyance, the Crowd Theater, and Second City. He is one half of the improv group Donovan Donovan and is a cast member of the sketch group Waffle Junkies. Most Friday and Saturday nights will have Donovan in the Old Town neighborhood where he competes in Faceoff Unlimited’s live Japanese game show, Batsu!

In his spare time Donovan enjoys writing funny things, playing video games, watching sitcoms for “research,” and kicking butt in the Dragon Ball Super Collectible Card Game (sponsorships welcome).
